Here at Le Salon Bridal Couture, we not only celebrate wedding fashion and dresses but the wedding stories of our local community as a whole. Meet LS Bride Lindsey & her fiance Jordan – this year, Lindsey’s grandparents are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary and her parents are celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary. With her wedding this year – all 3 generations are celebrating one amazing 2016 together and will continue to do so for future milestones to come. As Lindsey shares, “It has been such a blessing to grow up in a family with strong and loving marriages.”

How we met?

“We met at a small church where we were both taking a standardized test for homeschooling.”

Was it love at first sight?

“Yes! He actually told me he loved me the first day! (Only because I took his side on an argument with one of his buddies because I thought he was cute!)”

What makes you guys click?

“Lindsey & Jordan share the love of laughter! So much that Jordan makes Lindsey laugh so hard her abs hurt!”

How did he propose?

We were on a ski trip to Mt. Bachelor. Jordan is new to skiing and I am fairy experienced, so I always follow behind him in case he crashes. Well, he crashed really hard! Both skis and poles went flying, and when he stopped rolling down the hill he was screaming in pain. I grabbed all his stuff as fast as I could and skied down to him. As soon as I got there he flipped over, got on one knee, and asked me to marry him! My dad and brother got the whole thing on video!

Did you see the proposal coming?

I knew it was coming, I just wasn’t sure when! I admit I was a little mad that he faked a crash because I thought he was actually hurt, but once he showed me the ring I was filled with joy!
